Some "Food for Thought..."
The bakery continues to operate at full capacity. Every day, at the break of dawn, I dig in and start making donuts for the locals to come by and grab on their way to work (or sometimes on their way home!).
In taking a few minutes to do some math, I found some interesting numbers for those who are into that sort of thing.
In one year, baking on my own...
Used
Six (6) tons of flour
Three (3) tons of white sugar
1000 dozen eggs
500 gallons of milk
Produced
Fifty-four thousand six hundred (54,600) donuts
780 dozen muffins
3120 loaves of sweetbread
